Hey everyone!  Sorry that we haven't been posting very much!  Its hard when you are busy...  So things have been going very, very well!  God has been so kind to allow many doors to be opened.  Just last night I was invited to go and speak on a radio show called "We the People".  I was very encouraged to hear stories of other people who had an abortion and now are doing everything they can to support life.  So, I would like to encourage you, fellow friends, to choose life.  Print out a petition, have it signed and send it to me!  ALSO, please invite people to join our Facebook page, watch our video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTrf177F3gM .  Send it to all of your friends, have them watch it and send it to their friends!  Guys, LIFE is so important!  Do everything you can to save it.

Psalm 139:13-16 "For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb.  I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.  Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.  My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.  Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there were none of them."

Wow, how cool is that verse?  It is amazing how David praised God for the body that was given to him.  It saddens me to know that not every person is given a chance to praise Him for His wonderful works.

Busy...

Hey everybody!  As most of you know we are getting ready to shoot the Promotion video for the petition!  This is a HUGE step in the process of getting teens to sign it, since we have a lot to do this week we are, once again, not going to be posting.   Saturday we will have pics up so you all can see the "filming" process!  A BIG thank you to Maurico Belgrano and those at First Baptist who are helping us in this shoot and all those who are giving up their Saturday morning to volunteer!  We couldnt do it without you!

Run For Their Lives...

 We have a great story today of a family that I am really close with.  Their names are the Neikirks and this past year they held a race to raise money for the Woman's help centers of Jacksonville.  Here is Lacey's story of how her family has taken action on the issue of abortion:

 "This past year my dad, myself and several friends, Run For Their Lives Inc., put on a 5k race to benefit 4 local pregnancy centers.
Run For Their Lives is a 501(c)3 non profit organization which exists to educate and promote the pro-life cause.  

September 5th 2009, was the 1st inaugural run. We had 527 runners and walkers. We were blessed to raise $11,000 for
 Womens Help Center (http://www.pregnancyjacksonville.com/), First Coast Womens Services (http://fcws.org/),
Emergency Pregnancy Services (http://www.epsjax.org/) and Womens Resource Center (http://www.njwrc.com/).

We had over 20 vendors present the day of the race, including the pregnancy centers,
sponsors and local businesses supporting the prolife cause.

It was such an honor to be apart of Run For Their Lives Inc. The race was a very neat and exciting way to see like minded people unite for such an amazing cause!!!

What the Bible says about life...

Last night I got really curious as to what the Bible says about life in general.  I came across a few verses that spoke about life...

Leviticus 24:17 and 21 "17-Whoever takes a human life shall surely be put to death." "21-Who ever kills an animal shall make it good, and whoever kills a person shall be put to death."

Deuteronomy 30:19 "I call  heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse.  Therefore CHOOSE LIFE, that you and your offspring may live."

The first verse may be a little surprising to you, I know it was for me when I first read it.  "Whoever takes a human life shall surely be put to death"  Wow, that says a lot in just one sentence.  If you think about all the abortion doctors out there who kill hundreds of human lives every day, all of them will be put to death which means they will be thrown into hell.  But what if they find Christ and repent of their sins before him?  Will they not live in heaven forever?  The Bible tells us that Christ died on the cross to save us ALL from our sins, but only if we believe in him.  So if an abortion doctor came to Christ, then would that not be a great thing?!  I believe that Christ has a power like no other and he uses certain people to bring others to Christ.  We could be those certain people.  The next verse talks about choosing life over death.  I love how the Bible makes it so clear to us as to what we need to do "Therefore CHOOSE LIFE".  Its as easy as 1, 2, 3.  Most people say we have a choice to what we want, you can be pro-life or pro-choice.  But the Bible clearly states that we must choose life, we must stand up for those who cant speak for themselves, and we must spread the word of LIFE to everybody.  I will leave you with this: How have you helped save a life today?

Happy New Year!

How many of you have a new years resolution?  How many of us say we are going to do something but never do it?  I know I have done that many times.  But why do we all say something and never do it?  Maybe its because we are lazy or we simply forget our promises.  This year in 2010 we are making all those resolution lists and promises full of things that will eventually make us feel better.  The most popular thing for a new years resolution is losing weight, which in the end makes that person feel better about themselves, gives them more self confidence.  This is a great thing to accomplish but what if you did more?  For just a second lets stop thinking about ourselves and turn the attention on to someone who is WAY more important than we will ever be.  God.  The Bible tells us over and over again that we are to be servants for his glory, to do things that make him proud.  So what if we all came hand in hand and stood up for something that would bring our Lord all the glory?  What if you spread the word of this Pro-Life organization to ALL your friends and family, even if they don't live in Florida?  Could you imagine if this little Blog was being read by one of your friends living in California and then they spread it to New York and so on?  The impact would be amazing!  We could get teens just like us who live all over the country to start their own petition in their own city/state!  So for this years resolution lets all put this on our list "Bring God the most glory by spreading the word of Pro-Life to all my friends and family."  Lets all link arms and work together to bring God ALL the glory!
